With the retirement of Magical Farms we had an opportunity to purchase interest in this amazing male. We have one of his sons who has won 18 Championships to date. Why would we want Black Midnight too? Our Captain Midnight is from one of our favorite bloodlines. We have several females who are related to Captain, but not to Black Midnight. Do we want more Captain Midnights? You bet!!!! Call us to book your breeding to Black Midnight. On September 6th Colonel Midnight arrived. He's the full brother to our 18X banner winning 5C's Captain Midnight. This beautiful TB male is just as exciting as his award winning brother. So exciting that we plan to repeat the breeding for a 3rd time. Male or female, this combination just seems to be a real winner.
See the description more accolades of Black Midnight below.
With a pedigree that could knock off anyone's socks, LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight has the fleece to match!
His dam is Libby Forstner's famous 16-time champion black female champion LMFI Peruvian Black Pearl. His sire is MFI Peruvian Jericho, sire of the famous Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. Jericho's offspring have won over 420 ribbons and over 120 championships and Jeremiah is just one of them.
Black Midnight has a highly-advanced black fleece with excellent density and outstanding fleece character. The only problem with Black Midnight is that he hates to show. At his first show, he surprised us by dragging his back leg as soon as he entered the show ring. In spite of that he earned third place at the Futurity because of his outstanding fleece. After the class, he trotted happily back to his pen, his leg just fine! At his second show, he continued the same antics, only this time dragging his other back foot and again, he was fine after the class. At his third show, he abandoned the leg-dragging tactic and instead chose the tactic of falling over in the show ring. In spite of this behavior, he won the Black Male Reserve Color Champion
ELK Cagey Girl is as sweet as they come. Her soft, zipper crimp has beautiful brightness and consistent structure. Those fleece characteristics coupled with her beautiful head, frame and balance make her a great foundation female who should produce BLACK. Cagey's ari is impressive. Her sire, is none other than 5X Champ LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight who also sired the 18X Champ 5c's Captain Midnight. You will find CCNF Man in Black, Snowmass Nova and Snowmass Royal Rose on the bottom side.
Cagey is being sold as a non-breeder. Her fleece is amazingly soft and any fiber artists dream. She has a sweet disposition, is very talkative and an easy keeper.
